Cybersecurity and Cloud Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain AWS security controls, aligned with regulatory standards
• Configure secure logging and monitoring for cloud environments
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee remediation efforts
• Engage in security architecture reviews to ensure secure deployments
• Develop and maintain IaC modules for AWS resources
• Automate OS and application configurations using CaC tools
• Support CI/CD pipelines that incorporate security checks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8 years of experience; relevant experience can substitute for degree
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in production
• Proficient with IaC/CaC tools like Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, and STIG/CIS controls for cloud environments
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
