Cybersecurity Analyst, Junior
About the role
The Cybersecurity Risk Analyst will apply their experience in various cybersecurity areas, including RMF guidance, ST&E, system vulnerability, and compliance, to support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions.
- Leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership.
- Develop operation plans to support command and control.
- Support the research of emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats.
- Provide recommendations to decision makers and engineers on system security implementations, application security, and technology evaluations.
- Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in a cybersecurity or computer field, including supporting information assurance, networking, or systems administration.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Risk Management practices.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree.
- Experience with RMF A&A processes and Cybersecurity engineering.
- Experience in working with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
- Experience with Cloud and DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of STIG and compliance scans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and analytical skills.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Employees working from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
