Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its Information Security team. This role demands previous cyber security experience and the capability to make decisions independently. The Analyst will profile new and emerging threats to Delta's IT landscape, monitor security-related data, and report findings to senior executives.

• Effectively ascertain and leverage cyber threat intelligence data feeds.
• Identify and analyze emerging and persistent threats to Delta's networks, systems, and applications.
• Research and comprehensively analyze cyber threat observables pertinent to Delta.
• Write and deliver daily threat intelligence reports to C-Suite level executives.
• Identify potential security exposures and propose solutions for remediation.

What You Need To Succeed

• High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency.
• At least 2 years of Cyber Threat Intelligence related experience or 3 years of Cyber Security experience with at least 1 year in Cyber Threat Intelligence.
• Experience in vulnerability research, malware analysis, and exploit investigation.
• Strong written and verbal technical and non-technical communication skills.
• A solid understanding of networking, communication techniques/protocols, and their effects on security.
• Experience using a SIEM.
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills with little to no direction.
• Ability to handle multiple deliverables and manage priorities in a high-stress environment.
• Comfortable working in a high-stress environment.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security, or self and others.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Automation.
• Preferred industry certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, GCIH, etc.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
• Familiarity with YARA, OpenIOC, and STIX frameworks.
• Understanding of Linux/Unix platforms.
• Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Security.
• AWS Certification is a plus.
• Information security experience in cyber threat intelligence, security monitoring/SOC, vulnerability management, incident response, or penetration testing.
