About the role
This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.
Responsibilities
- Support cyber training environments by identifying and mitigating security risks within systems and networks.
- Manage and maintain VMware-based virtual infrastructures used in cyber training operations.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and assist with remediation efforts.
- Support development and execution of incident response plans and procedures.
- Monitor current cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and tools to ensure training systems remain secure and relevant.
- Build and maintain secure, segmented, or air-gapped virtual training environments as needed.
Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Solid understanding of network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience using vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, and Nmap.
- Proficiency with VMware virtual infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter, virtual networking).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting Air Force cyber training, WIC courses, or cyber ranges
- Experience with adversary emulation or threat-informed defense
- Technical certifications (CASP+, CISSP, CCSP, CySA+, CEH, etc.)

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $103,194.00 - $125,000.00.
