Cyber Security Architect/Engineer IV

Position Description

Join a dynamic federal environment as a Senior Vulnerability Engineer, supporting enterprise vulnerability and exposure management, compliance auditing, and web application scanning across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This role involves engineering, optimizing, and maintaining vulnerability management capabilities with tools like Tenable One, Nessus, and Tenable Web Application Scanning in a highly regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure vulnerability scanners
• Support continuous attack surface visibility
• Troubleshoot complex operational issues
• Deploy compliance audits with frameworks such as NIST & FedRAMP
• Integrate security platforms with enterprise systems like AWS, CyberArk, Splunk, and ServiceNow

Top Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations
• Hands-on experience with Tenable One, Nessus, Tenable WAS, and AWS security environments
• Proficiency supporting web application scanning and cloud-native security tools
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including NIST, FedRAMP, DISA STIG, and IRS Safeguards
• Experience with enterprise integrations, automation, and operational reporting
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-team coordination skills

About the Role

This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations, along with hands-on experience with relevant tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

Must have a Public Trust clearance and be eligible for a W2 position.
