We are a dedicated team delivering full‑lifecycle support for advanced collection and antenna systems. Our responsibilities span analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training, and sustainment, all performed in close partnership with our customer to ensure mission‑critical capabilities are reliable, secure, and ready for operational use.
Responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to safeguard vital national security systems while advancing cutting‑edge cyber defense technologies. As a Software Engineer You Will:
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Be proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
Requirements
Candidate must possess active security clearance with a polygraph. Basic Qualifications include a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $169,400.00. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
