Core Impact Areas & Responsibilities
- Expert Instruction: Delivering high-impact, engaging instruction for the CDSE Cybersecurity Curriculum, translating complex DoD policies into actionable learning.
- Curriculum & Content Review: Serving as the ultimate authority on cybersecurity content, reviewing course materials to ensure absolute alignment with current policies and operational realities.
- Subject Matter Leadership: Acting as the go-to expert for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and broader security disciplines, guiding the development of future training initiatives.
- Mission Alignment: Embodying Team Carney’s ethos of continuous improvement and performance acceleration within the federal sector.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education & Applied Experience: Must meet one of the following criteria: Option A: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university AND at least five (5) years of applied experience in security program implementation and operation within your SME discipline. Option B: In lieu of a degree, you must have at least eight (8) years of applied, hands-on experience in security program implementation and operations.
- Mandatory Certifications: You must hold a current Department of Defense Manual (DODM) 8140 Identity and Access Management (IAM) Level III certification.
- Security Clearance: You must possess an active Personnel Clearance/Eligibility (PCL) at the Secret level.
- Subject Matter Mastery: Absolute mastery of the knowledge, skills, and policies related to your cybersecurity discipline, backed by substantial, relevant work experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 annually.
- Salary Disclaimer: Actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s unique combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, applied experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
