Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity monitoring and incident triage using AFCENT/USCENTCOM selected security tools.
- Enter event data into mission support systems according to operational procedures.
- Report to meet AFCENT mission/tasking and produce security reports.
- Perform trend analysis of authorized and unauthorized activity.
- Correlate unusual and suspicious network activity.
- Validate unusual network activity unique to a geographical region and sensor location.
- Assist in developing countermeasures to isolate, contain, and prevent intrusive activities.
- Track, document, and report all security-related events.
- Coordinate and track Information Assurance Vulnerabilities Alerts (IAVA).
- Provide LAN/WAN support.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in cyber and network operations.
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Security+ certified.
- Network+ or CCNA certified.
- ITIL Foundations certified or able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Firewall, ACAS, and HBSS experience.
- Experience defining baseline security requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft server installation, roles, Active Directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance.
- US citizen with a current Secret clearance.
