Responsibilities

  • Support adherence to a rigorous Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance program as stipulated by NISPOM/DAAG, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs, and associated NIST publications.
  • Assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals for various systems by adhering to RMF.
  • Ensure all security certification and accreditation documents for classified systems are up to date.
  • Implement and meet continuous monitoring requirements (e.g., weekly, monthly) in accordance with cognizant security authority guidelines.
  • Support cybersecurity efforts throughout the RMF process, including developing and managing System Security documentation, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), assessing and auditing system security controls, and continuous monitoring.

This role requires full-time, on-site work at a BAE Systems facility due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and onsite work requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • IAM Level I certification commensurate with DoD 8570.1M.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
  • High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and adapt in a dynamic security environment.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to interface with IA team members, other security disciplines, program personnel, and government security representatives.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.
  • Experience with information security technology and management.
  • Experience auditing and certifying compliance for systems (Windows, Linux, Network Devices, and peripherals).
  • Experience preparing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documents and procedures.
  • Experience developing and delivering cyber-related briefings and training materials.
  • Experience with compliance and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, SCAP, ACAS, SCC).

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $79,365 – $134,921. Individual salaries are determined by factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
