Accountabilities
- Deliver cybersecurity engineering solutions that protect client environments, improve security maturity, and support broader risk management objectives.
- Work closely with leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to design secure architectures, automate security processes, and respond to emerging threats.
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions that protect sensitive data, applications, cloud environments, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze security telemetry across multi-cloud environments using tools such as Azure Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and Google Cloud Logging.
- Investigate security alerts, respond to incidents, improve detection capabilities, and tune security monitoring rules.
- Develop and implement identity and access management strategies across cloud platforms, including IAM, RBAC, privileged access management, and zero-trust security models.
- Secure cloud infrastructure through network protection, encryption, workload security, data protection, and configuration management across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
- Deploy and maintain cloud security tools to identify vulnerabilities, enforce security baselines, and support compliance requirements such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
- Embed security practices into development workflows through DevSecOps methodologies, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and continuous security testing.
- Build automation frameworks and internal security tooling using scripting languages and AI-enabled development tools to improve security operations and efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate cybersecurity risks into practical business-focused solutions.
- Mentor junior team members, contribute to knowledge sharing, and support the continued growth of cybersecurity capabilities.
- Participate in broader practice initiatives, including recruiting, training, and improving delivery methodologies.
Requirements
- Experienced cybersecurity professional with strong cloud security expertise, a consulting mindset, and the ability to communicate technical concepts in a business-focused manner.
- Hands-on experience securing environments across at least two major cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of zero-trust architecture, cloud networking, container security, vulnerability management, secrets management, and data protection.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and securing cloud-native workloads.
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks, compliance requirements, and threat modeling practices.
- Experience implementing security controls across multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with security automation, Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager, and scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including least privilege, IAM, RBAC, and privileged access management.
- Able to analyze security risks from both technical and business perspectives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, leadership, and technical teams.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
