Cyber Security Engineer III

Job Duties

• Review and assess complex weapon systems for technical risks within their cybersecurity posture.
• Work with system owners to develop and recommend appropriate mitigations for cybersecurity risks.
• Assess cybersecurity architectures across various applications or domains for systems with large size, complexity, and risk.
• Partner with DoD customers to guide them and explain the cybersecurity trade space.
• Experience with Cybersecurity best practices and Threat-based Cybersecurity frameworks.
• Provide system security engineering guidance to DoD customers.
• Familiar with the system authorization process and necessary security artifacts.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) years’ experience as a Cyber Security Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.

Certifications

• CompTIA Security + (required)
• One of more of the following within 6 months of start on contract: CPTE, CEH, CISA, CISSP

Clearance Requirements

TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
