Cyber Security Architect

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will shape cybersecurity architecture strategy for emerging technologies, with particular attention to how AI and automation can strengthen security capabilities. You will define current and future-state security architectures across multiple domains, helping create more interoperable, scalable, and practical solutions. The position also partners across technology teams to identify integration challenges, evaluate consolidation opportunities, and keep architecture aligned with evolving industry trends. Location: Remote - US based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity architectures and strategies for emerging technologies
• Evaluate AI and automation opportunities to enhance cybersecurity capabilities
• Create current and future-state cybersecurity architectures across multiple domains
• Assess and improve interoperability and automation across cybersecurity areas
• Explore secure interactions between AI agents and cybersecurity platforms
• Identify integration challenges and opportunities for technology consolidation
• Monitor industry trends that impact cybersecurity architecture

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, architecture, or engineering roles
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity architectures
• Familiarity with multiple cybersecurity technology domains
• Proven ability to translate complex technologies into practical use cases

Pay

$153,520 – $242,400 annually
