About the role
Cyber Security Architect is a key member of the IT Cyber Security team responsible for helping design, implement, and enhance enterprise security solutions that protect digital assets, systems, applications, and data. This role is ideal for a strong cybersecurity professional with a solid technical foundation who is ready to expand into broader security architecture responsibilities while partnering closely with senior leadership and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing enterprise security architectures across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and application environments.
- Participate in architecture reviews for applications, infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and cloud solutions to ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards and risk management practices.
- Work alongside senior architects and engineering teams to continuously improve IT security posture.
- Support secure application design by promoting secure coding practices, application security standards, and security-by-design principles.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Development teams to ensure applications are built on secure and scalable platforms.
- Partner with development teams to integrate security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

- Support automated security testing, code scanning, dependency analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Identify and assess cybersecurity risks affecting applications, cloud platforms, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Support security assessments and ensure solutions align with company policies and industry best practices.
- Work closely with developers, infrastructure engineers, cloud teams, and project managers to implement practical security solutions.
- Participate in security reviews for new technologies and business initiatives.
- Continue developing technical expertise and gradually assume greater architecture responsibilities.
Requirements
- US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-7 years of cybersecurity experience in one or more of the following areas: Security Engineering, Security Operations, Application Security, Cloud Security, Azure Platform, Infrastructure Security, DevSecOps.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments and collaborating with infrastructure and development teams.
- Strong desire to grow into cybersecurity architecture and technical leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
