About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our dynamic Cyber Security team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and supporting our Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions, ensuring robust security protocols and seamless user access management across our global organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IAM systems, including deploying and managing solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, and others. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance our IAM infrastructure, support end-to-end identity lifecycle management, and implement modern access control mechanisms such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls. Your expertise will directly contribute to safeguarding our digital assets, optimizing access protocols, and supporting our digital transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of IAM solutions, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Operations, HR IT, and Security to enhance IAM processes and security posture
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of identity lifecycle management, including onboarding, off-boarding, and access provisioning/de-provisioning
  • Design and support role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks and birthright access provisioning mechanisms
  • Develop and implement secure authentication and authorization protocols such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and federated identities
  • Conduct root cause analysis of access-related issues and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining IAM tools like SailPoint, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, Okta, Ping Federate, and Azure AD
  • Document IAM processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure compliance and facilitate audits
  • Support identity migrations and integrations post-merger or acquisition activities
  • Participate in risk management programs, security assessments, and architecture planning to enhance IAM security measures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and security practices
  • Hands-on experience with at least two IGA solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, etc.
  • Proficiency in designing, configuring, and supporting IAM solutions including SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) / IdentityNow
  • Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, onboarding, off-boarding, and entitlement management processes
  • Experience with Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), and modern authentication protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth)
  • Familiarity with cloud IAM solutions, particularly AWS IAM, and related security tools
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, or Ruby
  • Solid understanding of Java, XML, SQL, and BeanShell
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with AWS services including EC2 and Lambda
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical teams and executive leadership
  • Experience in risk management, IT architecture planning, and implementation
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, with flexibility for increased travel during project ramp-up phases
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills, with a focus on attention to detail
