About The Role
The Cyber Security Analyst at ScriptPro is a key member of the Security Operations team, responsible for supporting security and compliance initiatives across various frameworks and standards. This role involves managing projects, maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and ensuring audit readiness. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external customers to coordinate security efforts, track progress, and address compliance gaps. Additional responsibilities include supporting risk management activities, vulnerability assessments, continuous monitoring, and product security initiatives. In this position, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining security documentation, assisting with FedRAMP authorization packages, and ensuring adherence to multiple cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, HITRUST, ISO 27001, and others. Your efforts will help identify, communicate, and resolve security vulnerabilities and compliance issues across our products and environments, contributing to the overall security posture of ScriptPro.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, auditing, penetration testing, or related fields
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows technology, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams
- Experience managing security projects and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills across organizational levels
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties outside regular hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or equivalent
- Knowledge of ScriptPro products and processes
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Government or Department of Defense IT experience or security clearance
Responsibilities
- Manage and track security, infrastructure, and product certification projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as RMF, FedRAMP, PCI, HITRUST, ISO, and NIST
- Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive project documentation for various stakeholders including Customer Service, DevOps, and Executive leadership
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports on system compliance, security KPIs, audit readiness, and project status updates
- Cook up security efforts between internal teams and external customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Support security programs aligned with RMF steps, STIG compliance, SCAP scanning, and NIST controls implementation
- Aid in FedRAMP authorization activities, including SSP development, POA&M management, and continuous monitoring
- Contribute to multi-framework compliance efforts such as PCI DSS v4.0, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443
- Represent the Information Assurance team in meetings, resolving conflicts and guiding teams through complex security initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the organization’s security posture and compliance goals
