About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our Cyber Security team in Atlanta, GA (remote work may be considered).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in IT with a focus on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and security practices
- Hands-on experience with two or more IGA solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in designing, configuring, and supporting IAM solutions including SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), IdentityNow, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Identity lifecycle management, onboarding/offboarding, and access provisioning
- Experience with Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), and modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
- Technical expertise in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PowerShell
- Solid understanding of Java, XML, SQL, and related technologies
- Minimum of 4 years experience with AWS IAM services including EC2 and Lambda
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA are a plus
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management and IT architecture planning
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, with flexibility for increased travel during project ramp-up phases
Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and support of IAM applications and solutions, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, Operations, HR IT, and Security to enhance IAM processes and security frameworks
- Implement and support Identity Lifecycle Management activities such as user onboarding, de-provisioning, and access reviews
- Configure and maintain IAM platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, BeyondTrust, Okta, or Ping Federate, ensuring seamless integration and operation
- Develop and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks to ensure the principle of least privilege
- Support the modernization of access management protocols, including multi-factor authentication, federated identities, and single sign-on solutions
- Conduct root cause analysis on access issues and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence
- Assist in the analysis of user and permission data, creating test cases for onboarding and entitlement management
- Maintain documentation of IAM processes, configurations, and security protocols
