Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Analyst position supports the DISA GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07) at Ft Meade, MD. This role requires a current DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for C/I Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic enterprise defensive strategies for cyber security capabilities within the DODIN.
• Perform analysis of architectures, technologies, policies, and information to prevent, detect, and mitigate anomalies.
• Prepare and deliver briefings for senior leadership.
• Conduct cyber situational awareness activities and provide recommendations for enhancing situation awareness capabilities.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies across various domains including Cloud, federated regional gateways, cross domain peering points, internet access points, and endpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for C/I Polygraph.
• DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security +ce.
• Experience at Joint Command and/or Operations Center.
• In-depth understanding of military orders and the military decision-making process.
• Proficiency in Windows Desktop 7/8/8.1/10 and Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 R2.
• Knowledge of policy development and maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A solid understanding of IP addressing and subnetting.
• Experience with DISA and DoW networks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Microsoft server operating systems, VMWare, and Cisco network devices.

• Senior leader engagements.
• Experience with technical and/or military writing.
