Cyber Security Admin
Summary Of Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Admin will provide enterprise-level information security assistance to the organization. They will diagnose and troubleshoot information security related issues. They will be responsible for the protection of company assets to include people, data, and related information systems. This role will interact with individuals directly either through chat, email, remote login or by phone. They will be required to answer and field tickets.
- Responsible reviewing alerts from cybersecurity related systems (MS O365, MS CAS, MS Defender, Qualys, Bitdefender).
- Responsible for the review of O365 and Azure Secure Scores; assist in remediating vulnerabilities as necessary.
- Provide metrics on cybersecurity related systems.
- Responsible for cybersecurity related helpdesk tickets.
- Will assist with administering Cybersecurity VMO.
- Conduct third-party risk assessments.
- Ask team members targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.
- Navigate team members through actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they have solved a security issue.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers).
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
- Refer to internal or external partners to provide accurate security solutions.
- Ensure all security issues are properly logged.
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
- Manage email systems and cybersecurity related systems.
- Be able to use Defender Explorer functions to research email activities.
Essential Duties

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily working indoors, office environment.
Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience and/or education.
- 1-3 years Hands-on experience in Cybersecurity.
- Minimum 1-2-year experience working with Microsoft defender XDR.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
Preferred Education And Experience
- CompTIA Security + or comparable Information Security certification(s); is a plus for CC, ISCP CISSP, CEH, CISM.
- Experience working with Vulnerability Management solutions (Microsoft).
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with Microsoft Cloud App Security (CAS).
- Experience working with Antivirus software and Malware remediation (Bitdefender, Microsoft Defender).
- Experience working with Active Directory management.
- Experience working with Data Access Request (DSR) and eDiscovery or related tools.
- Experience working in property management, real estate, or similar industry.
- Experience working in fast pace, high-growth company.
- Experience with corporate wide communications.
