Responsibilities
- Installs, administers, and troubleshoots ARNORTH’s security solutions.
- Ensures the network's security, protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction, and troubleshoots any access problems.
- Works with the cyber security team to provide coverage for 10.5 hours a day during normal duty days (shift work between 0630-1700 Monday-Friday less Federal holidays).
- Periodically scans the NIPRNET and provides a weekly brief on the vulnerabilities and risks detected.
- Ensures personnel accessing information systems have the proper and current Cybersecurity certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01–M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, and DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity.
- Manages the G6 portion of the System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) process and performs PKI Enhanced Trusted Agent duties, issuing and revoking SIPRNET and Administrator tokens for ARNORTH personnel.
- Aids the Government in preparing cybersecurity audits, inspections, training, policy, and other staff actions.
- Inspects all remote user sites once per year.
- Responds to security incidents that threaten the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the networks, following the Command Incident Response Plan.
- Investigates additions and changes to cybersecurity processes to identify, measure, and control threats, minimizing unauthorized disclosure of information via monitoring, IAVAs, and cost-effective countermeasures.
- Documents integration of procedure changes, organization hardware and software acceptance testing, and mitigation procedures in accordance with organization and industry standards.
- Ensures cybersecurity compliance of NIPRNET systems and applications.
- Creates weekly IAVA status reports and collaborates with other leads to identify, patch, and correct vulnerabilities.
- Supports the government by providing research, documentation, artifacts, and administrative support for the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for the Command’s NIPRNET, DDASS, deployable C2 node type accreditations, future IaaS/PaaS/SaaS deployments, and other accreditations as required.
- Manages the ARNORTH SIEM environment, NETAPP Storage Area Network (SAN), SNAP Manager, and VMWare environment using DISA STIGs, ARCYBER CTOs, ARNORTH SOP, and standard industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience) of experience in a cyber security role.
- In-depth understanding and experience using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT-related field, business administration, or technology management.
- IAT Level II Certification (e.g., SEC+ or equivalent).
Skills And Experience
- Experience using eMASS and the RMF processes to provide continuous monitoring of networks.
Pay
USD $85,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
