Responsibilities
As a Cyber RF Software Engineer Senior Staff, typical responsibilities include overseeing one or more software development teams, mentoring and guiding team members, designing and coding new software, modifying existing code, debugging existing software, and correcting defects. Additionally, recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards are expected.
Key responsibilities also include integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments, which requires a deep understanding of C++, K8, Python 3.0, GIT, and CI/CD pipeline. Familiarity with Agile Sprint Development methodologies and experience with Digital Signal Processing and related RF technologies are also necessary.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions
- Develops and automates secure systems to support cyber offensive, defense and full spectrum cyber operations
- Conducts vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing (red/blue teams), develops and integrates low-level firmware, and/or develops specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements
Requirements
An Active US Security clearance with polygraph is required for this position. A Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution is also necessary. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects that follow established software processes
- Minimum 7 years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, Python (or comparable languages)

- Version Control and Collaboration experience: GIT

- RF protocol experience (i.e. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LTE, 5G)
- RF Applications experience
- RF Signal Processing experience
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $135,700.00 - $251,900.00
The salary range for this position is as listed, and Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market (work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
