About the role

As a Cyber RF Software Engineer Senior Staff, you will oversee one or more software development teams, ensuring excellence in software development processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring team members, analyzing user requirements, designing software solutions, debugging and modifying existing code, and integrating software into new or modified systems. You will also recommend improvements to documentation and development standards, contributing to high-quality product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor software development teams, ensuring adherence to software development processes.
  • Consult and analyze user requirements to build software design and performance requirements.
  • Design and code new software or modify existing code to add features.
  • Debug existing software and correct defects to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Recommend improvements for documentation and software development process standards.
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
  • Work with C++, Kubernetes (K8), Python 3.0, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Apply Agile Sprint Development methodologies to projects involving Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and related RF technologies.

Requirements

  • Active security clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution. Equivalency: MS in Engineering/CS + 2 years experience OR 4 years DSP experience + high school diploma.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects that follow established software processes.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, Python (or comparable languages).

For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $204,900.00. The salary offered considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market considerations.
