Overview
The CET team navigates an evolving Cyber landscape, operationalizing risk frameworks and bridging gaps between technical teams, risk professionals, and executives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage key cyber initiatives, which will include facilitating the development of new project and program requirements
- Support communications needs of various cyber-specific functions, including the gathering of insights and data as well as the preparation of written reports and oral presentations
- Drive the implementation of proper program management best practices, including the use of various governance mechanisms related to change management and other areas
- Develop and coordinate internal processes and program governance maturation
- Manage and organize key deliverables across various initiatives
- Drive and coordinate work related to Capital One’s cybersecurity program enhancement efforts
- Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements
- Continuously advise on the enhancement of risk and project / program management practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of experience in program management
- At least 2 years of experience in information technology or cyber security
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a related technical (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or Program Management field
- 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
- 3+ years of experience delivering Cybersecurity solutions and capabilities
- 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture using AWS
- 3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms
- 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery
- 5+ years experience delivering large and complex programs owning the business or technical vision, collaborating with large cross-functional teams, securing commitments on deliverables, and unblocking teams to land business impact
- 1+ year of experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
- 1+ year of experience working with emerging AI technologies
