Cyber Policy Analyst
About the role
As a cyber policy analyst, you will lead the assessment of your client's current cyber policies with a focus on Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), the coverage of those policies, and areas of risk. You will evaluate how policies align with regulations, best practices, and industry standards, and help guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess current cyber policies, focusing on ICAM, coverage, and risk areas
- Evaluate policies against regulations, best practices, and industry standards
- Guide clients in understanding acceptable risk and availability
- Develop a strategic policy roadmap to support your client's evolving IT environment
- Ensure robust policy development to secure defense IT infrastructure
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a professional environment
- 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity policy
- 3+ years of experience with Department of War ICAM policy
- Knowledge of Department of War policy processes
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Qualifications
- Experience with the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) and OSW-level governance
- Knowledge of IT implementation in the Department of War
- CISSP, CISM, or similar Cybersecurity Certification

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
