Cyber Defense Trainer

About the role

ITS, LLC is seeking a Cyber Defense Trainer to join our Colorado Springs, Colorado team. You will research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials to support Web-Based Training (WBT), Computer-Based Training (CBT), and Instructor-Led Training (ILT).

Responsibilities

• Consult with the client to develop learning objectives and a training approach.
• Research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials for WBT, CBT, and ILT.
• Apply various instructional strategies, models, and theories to develop learning content that enhances learning transfer and on-the-job performance.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure impactful, relevant course content and a supporting training range.
• Present and instruct developed courseware.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of cybersecurity experience with emphasis on cybersecurity course training development.
• Three years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent).
• Strong background/familiarity with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Protection Team (CPT), or Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP).
• IAT Level III certification required.
