CYBER CAPABILITIES PROGRAM ANALYST.

About the Role

Serves as a senior cyberspace capabilities and assessments analyst in support of USCYBERCOM’s Capability and Resource Integration Directorate (J8). Applies advanced analytical methods, deep knowledge of cyberspace operations, and comprehensive understanding of DoD requirements and PPBE. Develops and executes assessments that inform senior leadership decisions on strategic guidance. Provides authoritative guidance on analytical methods, assessment design, and interpretation of strategic-level direction. Evaluates the performance, operational utility, and developmental progress of cyberspace capabilities across the acquisition and fielding lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyberspace performance assessments to identify risks, capability needs, and process updates.
• Implement analytical findings into program planning products and long-range investment strategies.
• Recommend strategic plans for mission-essential cyberspace analysis capabilities.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• May be recalled to duty and required to work other than normal duty hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Occasional travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft may be required.
• Must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
• This position is a Test Designated Position (TDP); pre-employment and periodic random drug tests are required.
• Must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Requires a 3-year probationary period during which continued employment is evaluated.
• Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
• Must obtain and maintain required certifications/recertifications per DoDM 8140.03, including foundational qualifications within 9 months, resident qualifications within 12 months, and 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code.
