As a key contributor, you will spearhead the design process from conception to implementation, transforming complex challenges into elegant, user-centric solutions. Your work will directly influence the strategic direction of digital offerings, fostering a cohesive “One Experience and Design” standard across the organization and ensuring every interaction is meaningful and impactful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to all phases of product design, from distilling research and ideation to prototyping, final specification, and implementation.
  • Drive a unified user experience by collaborating effectively with colleagues, business leaders, and technology partners, adapting to organizational changes as they occur.
  • Advocate for human-centered design principles within digital development processes and across stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with design leads to define and enhance product design and experience, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure creative thinking is consistently applied to product, business, and customer needs, meeting committed timeframes.
  • Champion best practices to achieve a cohesive “One Experience and Design” standard across the organization.
  • Define and apply user-centric design measurement criteria and conduct testing to ensure positive user experience outcomes.
  • Develop and document product design standards and patterns systemically across various products.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and tool implementation to optimize design workflows.
  • Cultivate and maintain continuous customer relationships, identifying and leveraging UX and design opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of a global enterprise, adapting your approach to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing products.
  • A dynamic design portfolio showcasing your design process and shipped products.
  • Proven experience with iterative design sprints and lean, Agile development processes.
  • Strong product design skills and practical application of human-centered design methods that balance user needs with business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problems and develop holistic solutions for product and its UX ecosystems.
  • Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with Design Systems and human interface guidelines for various platforms, including iOS, Android, and connected platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in sketching, concept creation, wireframing, producing information architecture, sitemaps, and user flows, along with creating clickable rapid design prototypes.
  • Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate for design decisions.
  • A vibrant and engaging communicator capable of presenting complex concepts and ideas to all levels of the company.

Skills

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Additional design skills in related fields such as filmmaking, motion design, or multimedia design.
  • Familiarity with health technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in crafting ideas, educating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution.
  • Ability and interest to help lead cultural shifts within the organization, including digital transformation initiatives.
  • A vibrant and engaging storyteller with strong business communication and presentation abilities for all levels of the company.
  • An intellectual curiosity that inspires those around you.

Pay

Compensation Range: $70-75/hour, depending on experience.
