Job Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate functional testing of multi-stack equipment and multi-redundant system configurations within a trade.
- Review criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.
- Develop and administer pre-functional checklists.
- Create and update daily Commissioning progress reports.
- Conduct field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work then assists Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings.
- Understand FMCx standards and can successfully utilize Facility Grid.
- Works required overtime and travels as necessary to ensure projects are fully supported.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or required years of experience, including commissioning of large distribution systems for industrial, datacenter, pharmaceutical processes, or laboratory type facilities.
- A minimum of 18 months years field experience in hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of large Electrical systems.
- Possesses basic understanding of proper system selection.
- Exhibits basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principals to building designs.
- Exhibits thorough understanding of applicable codes.
- Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO-Cx procedures and protocols, a plus.
- EIT/FE required.
