CWS Relationship Coordinator

About the role

The CWS Relationship Coordinator supports students in their workplace and acts as a liaison to an assigned portfolio of Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) corporate partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with students, offering guidance and supporting them as they transition into the corporate world
  • Act as a liaison to an assigned portfolio of CWSP business partners, managing corporate accounts through developing and maintaining relationships with supervisors and decision-makers
  • Conduct site visits in compliance with Department of Labor requirements
  • Provide coaching and feedback to students, monitor student timecard submissions, and assist in teaching CWS curriculum as needed
  • Assist the Student Development Manager with monitoring and grading student performance, and inputting CWS academic grades through PowerSchool

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Entry-level position, some customer relations experience helpful
  • Experience working with high school students in an urban or Catholic school setting
  • A desire to learn and be part of the unique Cristo Rey mission, recognizing the educational value and financial importance of the Corporate Work-Study Program
  • Spanish and English proficiency preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Regularly interact with students, parents, staff, corporate partners, and visitors. Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time. Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
