CWHH - Branch Director (contract)

This is a temporary contractor role as an employee of Atrium assigned to work at CenterWell.

About the Role

The Branch Director is accountable for managing the day-to-day branch operations to ensure operational efficiencies, quality of patient care, regulatory compliance, support of business development and patient base growth, achievement of key performance indicators, and people management and development. The Branch Director supervises the branch and clinical staff, ensuring the branch meets applicable Federal, State, and local laws regarding certification and licensure. Responsible for long-range planning, fiscal viability, and quality of care provided by the branch. Recruits, interviews, and hires staff while monitoring quality care and organizational performance. Assists other disciplines in coordinating activities to ensure continuity, appropriateness, and quality of services delivered.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, implements, analyzes, and organizes operations for the Branch.
• Responsible for the delivery of care for all patients served by the Branch by providing supervision and support to the Clinical Manager.
• Works with the AVP of Operations and Finance Department to establish the Branch's revenue and budget goals.
• Provides clinical leadership, support, and supervision to clinical manager(s) to promote effective performance and delivery of quality home care services.
• Maintains office operations in an efficient, productive, effective, and organized manner, ensuring a safe working environment that complies with local ordinances, fire and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conducts continuous quality improvement quarterly committee meetings, reviews patient satisfaction data, and follows up on negative surveys and visits with referral sources.
• Communicates with the AVP of Operations for direction, problem-solving, and implementation of programs and protocols.
• Reviews and processes Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act complaints and contacts the Sr. Director, Compliance & Regulatory with any questions.
• Maintains records and forms as required and adheres to all Company policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook.
• Partners with Sales Directors and Account Manager(s) to meet budgeted admission goals and participates in sales and marketing initiatives.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• RN, LPN, or LVN licensure.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory and administrator experience in home care or hospice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical documents, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Demonstrates effective leadership skills to motivate, educate, supervise, and support staff in developing a cohesive team.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current quality improvement methodology and tools.
• Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.

Pay

72 - 77 USD hourly. The actual pay rate will be based on skills, competencies, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state requirements.
