Job Description

• Supporting engineers in the development and application of vehicle electronic components.
• Preparation and/or maintenance of technical documentation according to engineering instructions.
• Support electronic part packaging in the vehicle using CATIA V5 CAD, in both the 3D and 2D environments.
• Updating wiring specifications, parts list based on detailed instructions from responsible engineers.
• Preparation of part orders for build events or evaluation activities.
• Support engineers and technicians with re-flashing ECUs and other vehicle update activities.
• Creation and submission of drawing comparison reports for engineer review.
• Maintenance and audit of open issues lists according to engineering instructions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, CATIA V5 (both 3D and 2D environments).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
• Interest and willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks.
• Willingness to work onsite at our Saline Michigan office 5 days/week.
• Must be able to work up to 30% overtime.

What You May Bring

• Experience in vehicle specific mechanical design/development.
• Experience with wiring or other electrical background.
