Job Title: CW Emission Test Support Technician - 2nd ShiftJob Description As a CW Emission Test Support Technician, you will be responsible for setting up test vehicles on a chassis dynamometer and operating emission analyzers according to engineering work requests. You will drive test vehicles on the dynamometer following specific test traces or engineering directions. Additionally, you will handle particulate filter measurements in a clean environment, support daily test scheduling, and participate in the maintenance and organization of the test cell. You must also be willing to work in varying temperature conditions ranging from -35 to 50°C. Responsibilities Set up test vehicles on a chassis dynamometer using standard processes.Operate chassis dyno and emission analyzers as per engineering requests.Drive test vehicles on chassis dyno using prescribed test traces.Handle particulate filter measurements in a clean environment.Support daily test scheduling and test cell organization.Participate in safety and quality assurance activities.Maintain readiness to work in cold and hot test chambers. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in chassis dyno emissions testing.Experience with emissions testing including EPA drive cycles such as FTP 75, US06, and HFET.Proficiency in setting up emission analyzers and operating chassis dynamometers.Ability to maintain a high-level safety mindset.Possession of a clean driving record. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma required, AA or trade school education preferred.Experience in general automotive repair.ASE Certifications are advantageous. Work Environment The position is for the 2nd Shift, with working hours from 3pm to 11:30pm. The work environment involves working in test chambers with temperatures ranging from -35 to 50°C. Employees are expected to uphold safety and quality standards while operating advanced testing equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
