This position requires a minimum of 6 months of in-house orientation/training, but is not yet considered registry eligible by CCI or Alliance of Cardiovascular Professionals.

Education & Training

• Completed competency checklist by peer trainer
• Physician confidence to work independently with all procedures
• Begin call rotation

Experience

• Physician confidence to work independently with all procedures

Physical Requirements

• Normal hospital environment
• Close eye work
• Hearing of normal and soft tones
• Frequent exposure to mechanical hazards
• Operates computer, treadmill, spirometer, telephone, Holter scanner
• Frequent standing, walking, bending and stooping
• Lifting, carrying up to 20 lbs
