Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Performs various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams. High quality diagnostic cardiac and/or vascular imaging procedures. Maintains accurate documentation of results and reports to physicians as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical job training.
- Licensure and Certifications:
- Minimum of one registry in either: - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): ▪ Adult Cardiac Sonography (RDCS-AE) ▪ Vascular Technology (RVT) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): ▪ Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) ▪ Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
