Job Details Responsibilities The Die Cutting Operator supports the Die Cutting Manager in providing support, direction, and training to achieve KPI improvements through driving operational performance. Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with our policies and proceduresMake-ready, adjust, and run jobs as efficiently as possible to meet safety and producivity standardsExamine job order to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications, and special die cutting instructionsExamine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair minor defectsMake necessary adjustments to ensure qualityEnsure information is communicated between shiftsPerform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of Die CutterMaintenance duties include stooping under machinery, entering confined spaces and climbing laddersAccurately record production metrics through SAPPerforms all other duties as assigned Required Skills Strong mechanical aptitude/skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to understand technical written and verbal instructionsStrong computer and math skills requiredAbility to accurately distinguish color variationMust be able to work other shifts and overtime as necessary Required Experience Prior folding carton experience preferred Physical Demands Occasional bending, reaching, twisting and stoopingAbility to read computer screens and other electronic devicesOccasional squatting and kneeling for cleaning and clearing jamsPushing/pulling/lifting to 50 lbs.Ability to distinguish color PAY RANGE: $25.61 - $37.96 Safe Quality Food Responsibilities Responsible for compliance with all facility food safety, food defense, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs)/Sanitation policies and procedures. Employees must continually work to promote orderliness and cleanliness of their work area in support of SQF/5S and other company standards.
