Cut-Out Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Determines the cutting paths and sequence of operations using appropriate software, maximizing material usage through placement of artwork on the raw material sheets.
• Programs lasers, water jets, and mills with the correct cutting parameters.
• Sets up the laser, water jets, and mills with correct material.
• Lays out location of mounting studs and drills and taps product as needed.
• Performs inspection of letters before shipment to insure compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards.
• Maintains a complete and orderly file of all artwork used.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with laser cutting, water jetting, and milling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in fabrication or similar field.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of sign making processes and materials.

Skills

• Proficient in laser cutting, water jetting, and milling.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$17.42 - $22.84 per hour.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Overtime is scheduled as needed.
