Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide cut floor staff to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- Manage and prioritize daily production schedules and workloads.
- Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to employees.
- Cook with management and other departments to optimize processes and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production, staffing, and inventory levels.
- Address and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or operational challenges promptly.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or meat processing environment.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards, familiarity with operational procedures and relevant software tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks, capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, comfortable working in cold and wet facility environments.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work varied shifts as needed.
- Occasional travel may be required.
