Cut and Trim Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform cut and grind tasks following work instructions
• Wear all personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage
• Scuff laminate surface, cut off any extra flange and dried glass along the edge of the blade
• Apply glue to any area with glue voids
• Perform repairs to defects inside the blade (confined space)

Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors
• Ability to work with hands for an extended period
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Requires wearing of respirator

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or related experience
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous experience working with wind turbine blades or composite (desired)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM

Pay

Base pay range: $22.88–$27.50 per hour. Geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary applies in certain areas.
