Customs Entry Writer Carson, CA Area | Up to $30/Hour + BenefitsA well-established Customs brokerage and international logistics organization is seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer for an immediate full-time opportunity in the Carson, California area.This onsite position supports the complete import-clearance process, from reviewing documentation and preparing entries through government-agency approval and final shipment release.What You’ll Be Doing• Prepare and transmit U.S. Customs import entries • Review invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and supporting import documents • Enter shipment, classification, and government-agency information accurately • Process FDA and other Partner Government Agency requirements • Research HTS classifications and missing product information • Track Customs, FDA, and carrier release status • Resolve entry, census, documentation, and bill of lading discrepancies • Coordinate shipment holds and releases with clients, carriers, and internal operations teamsWhat We’re Looking For• 3+ years of direct Customs entry writing or Customs brokerage experience • Experience personally preparing or transmitting U.S. import entries • FDA or other Partner Government Agency processing experience • Knowledge of HTS classification and Customs clearance procedures • Ability to process a consistent entry volume accurately and efficiently • Strong attention to detail, urgency, and organizational skills • Experience with Customs brokerage systems; QuestaWeb is preferred • Ability to work fully onsite in the Carson, California areaWhy Consider This Opportunity?• Up to $30 per hour • Immediate opening • Stable, full-time position • Collaborative and team-oriented work environment • Direct exposure to Customs entries, FDA, PGA, and international import operations • Streamlined two-step interview processThe interview process includes an initial conversation with Human Resources followed by an onsite interview.
