Customs Entry Writer

Position Overview

Your primary responsibilities as a customs entry writer include reviewing import and export documents, ensuring all customs invoices and shipment papers are present, and preparing paperwork for clearance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Use specialized software to track inventory
• Sign brokerage documents
• Organize customs rejections
• Answer client customs questions
• Complete clerical duties and monitor the processing for goods going through customs
• Utilize benchmarks to procure transportation services at competitive rates
• Be available as needed and work as part of a Saturday rotation
• Communicate and coordinate with Korean-speaking clients to ensure seamless customs clearance and documentation
• Perform other related job duties as assigned or required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or a high school diploma/GED
• 1 year of Customs Brokerage Experience
• Competency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in Freight Forwarding, supply chain, or logistics operations (preferred)

Work Environment
