Customs Entry Writer
Position Overview
Your primary responsibilities as a customs entry writer include reviewing import and export documents, ensuring all customs invoices and shipment papers are present, and preparing paperwork for clearance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Use specialized software to track inventory
- Sign brokerage documents
- Organize customs rejections
- Answer client customs questions
- Complete clerical duties and monitor the processing for goods going through customs
- Utilize benchmarks to procure transportation services at competitive rates
- Be available as needed and work as part of a Saturday rotation
- Communicate and coordinate with Korean-speaking clients to ensure seamless customs clearance and documentation
- Perform other related job duties as assigned or required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or a high school diploma/GED
- 1 year of Customs Brokerage Experience
- Competency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in Freight Forwarding, supply chain, or logistics operations (preferred)

Work Environment
