Customs Entry Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and process import, export, and customs documentation
• Support customs clearance and cargo release
• Classify imported goods using tariff and HTS codes
• Affirm duty and tariff calculations
• Track shipments from arrival through final delivery
• Confirm customs clearance and freight availability
• Cook up coordination with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouses, truckers, customers, and internal teams
• Provide customers with timely shipment and delivery updates
• Resolve documentation, customs clearance, and freight-release issues

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of customs brokerage, customs clearance, freight forwarding, import, or logistics experience preferred
• Related education in international business, supply chain, transportation, or logistics may be considered
• Fluency in at least one of the following languages is required: Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
• Comfortable working onsite full-time in Jamaica, NY
