About the role

The Customer Technical Support Specialist provides technical, operational, and product support for UMB's Commercial Treasury Customers. This role is part of the Implementation team focused on Treasury Management, offering an array of solutions across the entire payment spectrum to manage cash outflows and receivables that drive efficiencies and cost savings.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates fulfillment activities for onboarding of new services, updating user profiles and access levels, and providing product education and training.
  • Functions as an escalated point of contact for customer inquiries, technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and transactional support.
  • Coordinates appropriate customer documentation and follow-through to completion.
  • Provides support to UMB Treasury Officers and customers for access and routine navigation needs.
  • Partners with internal departments to ensure client needs are met and problems are resolved.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of customer service, technical support, or operations experience or equivalent education.
  • Excellent customer service skills (incoming calls, branch, or operations support).
  • Familiarity with networks and internet protocols.
  • Understanding of online security measures and their purpose.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple requests, concerns, and problems in a professional manner requiring significant attention to detail.
  • Above-average interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve routine to moderate technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to be a self-starter.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

Compensation Range: $51,291 - $75,460. The posted compensation range represents UMB’s good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
