CUSTOMER SVC/SHIFT LEADER

About the role

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Encourage team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the total store operations in absence of Store Manager and Store Managers in Training.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Work in all areas of our stores including cashiering, stocking, general maintenance, and cleaning.
• Aid store management and team members in achieving a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Assist in leading teams in the planning, implementation and execution of merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Drive sales working with store management team to maximize sales and profits while managing shrink.
• Assist the store management team in reducing turnover, increasing retention and maintaining consistent store operations.
• Manage labor and supply costs to meet customer service and financial targets.
• Maintain an awareness of inventory and stocking conditions to capture ordering system integrity.
• Display positive attitude and promote trust and respect among team members.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold throughout the store.

Requirements

• Any previous supervisory/leadership experience.
• Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Effective communication and reading skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines.
• Ability to report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Ability to adhere to all safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions.

Skills

• Positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work any shift, ability to open or close store.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

Minimum salary range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Shifts may vary based on business needs. Positions may require evening, weekend, and/or rotating shifts.
