Customer Support Representative

About the role

Based in our office in Lafayette, CO, this role will interface with and support internal and external customers with all aspects of order processing and query resolution, contributing directly to the Company’s ability to meet sales goals and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Work with the commercial team to support processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Update and maintain sales data and information within the appropriate software systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences in a timely manner through effective communication and responsiveness for customers, both internal and external.
• Contribute to the development of the ordering process to ensure Horizon continues to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Develop basic product knowledge and a strong understanding of the shipping requirements by building a strong relationship with shipping and logistics.
• Follow the procedures set down in the SOP’s for accurate and timely entry of all orders.
• Work as part of a team and adopt a flexible approach to increase and maintain the quality of service.
• Undertake relevant project work and additional responsibilities as appropriate and agreed with the Head of Customer Services.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role
• 2+ years working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in the life science industry
• Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and cross-country team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Pay

The base salary range for this full-time position is $45,000–53,000. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
