About the Role
Premier Nutrition is seeking a highly motivated professional to deliver exceptional Order Fulfillment and Customer Operations support. This role drives an optimal fulfillment rate through proactive collaboration with internal cross-functional partners, third-party logistics providers, and warehouse teams. As a key point of contact for customer inquiries, you’ll ensure timely issue resolution and an outstanding customer experience. The role reports to the Customer Success Manager and operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Customer Account Management (50%):
- Manage the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring adherence to customer requirements (ASNs, EDI transactions, NetSuite data entry, delivery compliance, pricing, and discount structures).
- Understand each customer’s organizational structure and purchase order management processes.
- Advise on item deployment to optimize warehouse operations and transportation efficiency.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions using data-driven solutions.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize fill rate and service levels.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Warehouse partners to optimize delivery performance.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Customers, Operations, Sales, Accounting, Marketing, and third-party logistics providers.
- Order Administration (40%):
- Support Customer Master Data management to ensure accurate records and prevent order entry delays.
- Assist with new customer and item setup within internal systems for smooth onboarding and order processing.
- Leverage communication platforms (email, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow) to coordinate with partners for efficient order management.
- Partner with Sales and Accounting teams to resolve invoicing and pricing issues.
- Gather data and report relevant account activity to Sales and Leadership.
- Ensure all order fulfillment and delivery documents are complete and accurate.
- General Contributions (10%):
- Attend meetings and presentations.
- Engage in impromptu conversations with colleagues.
- Contribute ideas and energy to process improvements.
Work Environment
We operate in a dynamic, hybrid workplace. Employees within 100 miles of our Emeryville office are expected in-person Tuesday through Thursday for collaboration, innovation, and culture-building. Our hybrid model balances autonomy with intentional in-person connection, including weekly all-company meetings, leadership role-modeling, and impromptu collaboration. The role involves significant computer work, data analysis, multitasking across systems, and communication via meetings, email, and messaging platforms. Occasional movement around the office and lifting of up to 10 pounds may be required.
Requirements
- Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience.
- Experience: Working knowledge of supply chain and order fulfillment operations.
- Skills and Mindset:
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to proactively manage and prioritize details with high accuracy.
- Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP system) and/or ServiceNow (or similar SaaS) is a plus.
- Drive and ownership of results, learning/growth mindset, adaptability, builder mentality, and collaborative spirit.
Pay
The expected pay scale for this role is $70,000 to $80,000, varying based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic area, and internal equity.
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday for employees within 100 miles of the Emeryville office.
