HybridOTHR$115k–$139k/yrFull-time

As a Customer Success Manager with an audit background at DataSnipper, you will own the success of a portfolio of accounts, leveraging your direct experience in audit to connect with and understand audit teams. You will apply established CS frameworks and your audit knowledge to accelerate adoption, build credibility with audit stakeholders, and design enablement tailored to audit workflows. This role involves managing onboarding, QBRs, health monitoring, and renewals with a focus on audit-specific language and priorities.

About DataSnipper

DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn transforming the audit and finance industry, which remains heavily manual. With 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, we are embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms. Our Excel Agent brings AI directly into where the work happens—inside Excel—operating with real documents and audit evidence to not just generate answers but perform the work with full traceability. We are redefining how audit gets done at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Credible Audit Advisor: Serve as a trusted partner to Audit Managers, Senior Auditors, and engagement team leads. Translate DataSnipper’s capabilities into language and use cases that resonate with audit professionals.
  • Drive Adoption Aligned to Audit Workflows: Run onboarding and training sessions grounded in how audit teams work, mapping DataSnipper features to real engagement tasks, sample testing approaches, and evidence management requirements.
  • Manage Account Health with Audit Context: Use product data, stakeholder signals, and your understanding of audit operating rhythms to monitor portfolio health. Escalate firm-wide implications, such as low adoption, with the right context.
  • Build Audit-Grounded Success Plans: Create success plans connecting DataSnipper capabilities to audit-specific outcomes like engagement efficiency, sample coverage, review cycle speed, and quality compliance. Align milestones to audit calendar realities and firm methodology.
  • Communicate ROI in Audit Terms: Articulate business impact using metrics that matter to audit professionals—time saved per engagement, risk reduction, quality improvement. Run QBRs with the credibility of someone who has worked in the field.
  • Support Expansion Using Domain Knowledge: Identify expansion signals within your portfolio and leverage your understanding of firm structure (e.g., service lines, team hierarchies, engagement types) to surface credible growth opportunities. Support Sales in building ROI cases for audit leadership.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Audit Insight: Share audit workflow intelligence with Product, Sales, and Solutions Engineering. Surface patterns requiring audit expertise, such as methodology gaps or adoption friction specific to audit processes.
  • Contribute Audit Knowledge to the Team: Help peers understand audit customer context and act as an internal resource for audit-specific questions to elevate the team’s collective ability to serve audit accounts.
  • Maintain Systems and Portfolio Data: Keep customer data, health signals, and portfolio records accurate and up to date in internal systems to support reliable reporting and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Audit Domain Credibility: Direct experience working in or alongside audit teams, with a deep understanding of engagement lifecycles, sample testing, evidence management, team hierarchies, and quality standards governing audit work.
  • Experience: Ideally, a combination of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role in B2B SaaS, along with direct experience in audit (e.g., as an auditor, audit technology specialist, or in a client-facing role embedded in audit workflows).
  • Audit-Specific Enablement Design: Ability to design and execute onboarding and training programs that map to real audit workflows, including audit cycle timing, firm methodology, and engagement team structure.
  • Reliable Execution: Proven ability to manage a portfolio independently, meet commitments, and deliver consistent outcomes without close supervision.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Comfort using product data and health signals to anticipate risks and inform decisions, with proficiency in CS tools and CRM platforms.
  • Clear Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in both audit professional language and CS/GTM contexts, navigating stakeholder conversations with audit managers and firm leadership.
  • Ownership Mindset: Takes responsibility for accounts and personal development, actively seeking and applying feedback to improve.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Contributes to the team by sharing audit knowledge to enhance peers’ effectiveness with audit accounts.
  • Adaptability: Handles change well, adjusting to shifting priorities while maintaining a constructive attitude in a fast-moving environment.
