Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for the overall performance of the team.
- Receive feedback and suggestions from direct reports and work with the Underwriting Operations team to prioritize team initiatives.
- Make hiring decisions, schedule your team, and process payroll.
- Identify and groom promising talent on the team.
- Ensure that all members of the team are fully trained and up to date on all company initiatives.
- Train a team of trainers to assist with new hire and other ad hoc training.
- Administer Performance Improvement Plans when necessary to guide your team to perform up to standard.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
- Requires a master’s degree in enterprise risk management or finance.
- Graduate coursework in Insurance risk management and Operational risk management.
- No prior experience required.
- Telecommuting and working from home permitted.
Pay
Base salary: $247,333/year.
