About the role
This role serves as the trusted partner for WinCap and QSS/OASIS districts, helping them navigate the transition of experienced finance, HR, and operations professionals to newer administrators. The Customer Success Manager is responsible for building strong relationships, driving adoption, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of WinCap and QSS/OASIS districts as their primary relationship and point of contact.
- Spend real time on site with districts, building trust through frequent visits and understanding their needs.
- Identify and address potential issues before they become problems, ensuring customer loyalty.
- Host and coordinate webinars and working sessions to enhance product knowledge and foster long-term relationships.
- Monitor renewals closely and engage early to ensure smooth transitions.
- Contribute to shaping the Customer Success playbook, providing insights based on field experience.
Requirements
- Experience as a Customer Success Manager or in a similar client-facing role, preferably in software.
- The ability to build trust quickly and maintain strong relationships over time.
- A knack for simplifying complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
- A retention-first mindset, focusing on customer success rather than just closing deals.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with the K–12 or public-sector world, particularly with school business officials.
- Genuine enthusiasm for working in the field and building relationships directly with clients.
Qualifications
- Experience with K–12 or public-sector software solutions is a plus.
- Ability to travel approximately 25–50% for on-site visits.
