About the role
The Customer Success Engineer leads regional account strategy and growth initiatives, leveraging technical expertise and commercial insight to strengthen partnerships and drive expansion. This role requires proactive engagement with key stakeholders, guiding scope changes, and collaborating across operations, engineering, and business development to ensure Evolution remains the preferred partner in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Own regional account strategy, driving retention and expansion across multiple fleets/clients.
- Led scope change evaluations and commercial feasibility assessments.
- Collaborate with BD and internal teams on pricing, economics, and strategic planning.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts and regional markets.
- Maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influence strategic direction.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to CSE 1s on account management best practices.
- Share regional market insights and competitor intelligence to inform Evolution’s positioning.
- Support execution of RFPs and commercial negotiations for extensions and new projects.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Daily predictable attendance.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3-year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.

Qualifications for Advancement

- Prior business development experience, in-house experience, and/or leadership training.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- The role will require flexibility with travel and a hybrid work setting consisting of: EVO Office, Client Office, and EVO Jobsite.
- The Customer Success Engineer is required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The Customer Success Engineer works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk, while typing on a computer, whether in home office, corporate office, client office, or EVO jobsite.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- When required to go to a wellsite, their work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions, if visiting a pad, they may be required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and impact gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies.
- The Customer Success Engineer must be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.
- Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
