Customer Solutions Specialist
About the role
You will maintain ongoing relationships with regional customers and sales staff by handling calls, correcting order issues, processing orders, and resolving product or service issues.
You will process sales orders and changes, confirm shipment/delivery dates, and handle cancellations.
You will provide specialty gas/supplies sales and support to customers, Customer Solutions Specialists, and the outside sales team.
You will use business software systems to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels, and process orders.
You will verify customer credit status and complete paperwork for issuing credits or debits.
You will provide quotes and assistance to sales force and management within set parameters.
You will suggest additional or alternative products and services to meet customer needs, following pricing guidelines.
You will build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal Linde customers, meeting call center performance metrics.
Responsibilities

Requirements
You have a high school diploma; college or equivalent experience is preferred.
You possess a minimum of two to four (2 – 4) years of customer service or in-store sales experience.
Prior industry experience with knowledge of company products such as hardgoods, welding supplies, industrial gas, specialty gas, and medical gas is required.
Hands-on experience in Specialty Gas / Hydrocarbon industries is required.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes are essential for this role.
You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You should demonstrate the ability to work independently and be self-motivated and work flexible hours.
