Customer Solutions Specialist

About the role

Direct hire opportunity for a Customer Solutions Specialist in Springfield Gardens, NY, supporting ocean and air import/export customer accounts within a fast-paced logistics and transportation environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise directly with customers and overseas offices to assess needs, resolve shipment questions, and provide timely customer service follow-up.
• Manage and track ocean and air shipments from origin to destination while keeping customers and overseas teams informed.
• Coordinate arrival processes, delivery setup, and shipment milestones for domestic and international freight.
• Maintain customer standard operating procedures, shipment timelines, and EDI customer updates.
• Support management with customer reporting, cost tracking, documentation, and operational follow-up.
• Perform billing functions and handle assigned files from A to Z with a high level of accuracy.

Pay

Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour. Employment type: Direct hire.
